Questions about gas fitting
Can any plumber do gas work?
No. Gas work in WA has to be done by a licensed gas fitter. My licence number is GF17376.
Do I get a compliance certificate?
Every gas job. It's signed and in your hand before I leave.
I can smell gas. What should I do?
If it's strong, don't use switches or flames. Get everyone outside and call your gas network's emergency line first. For a faint smell you want traced, ring me.
Do you cover my suburb?
I'm based in St James and work across Perth's river suburbs: the CBD, the eastern suburbs, most of the southern ones, and across to Nedlands and Cottesloe. The full list is on my home page, and if yours isn't on it, ring anyway.
Can you come out after hours?
Booked work is Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm. After-hours work is by arrangement, so ring and ask.
