Questions about hot water systems
Should I repair my hot water system or replace it?
It depends on how old it is and what's failed. If a repair will get you a few more years, I'll tell you, even though a new system is the bigger job for me.
How much does a new hot water system cost?
It depends on the type and size you need. You get a fixed price in writing before any work starts, so the number you agree to is the number you pay.
Do I need a gas fitter for a gas hot water system?
Yes. Gas work in WA needs a licensed gas fitter. My gas fitting licence is GF17376, and you get a compliance certificate when the job is done.
Do you cover my suburb?
I'm based in St James and work across Perth's river suburbs: the CBD, the eastern suburbs, most of the southern ones, and across to Nedlands and Cottesloe. The full list is on my home page, and if yours isn't on it, ring anyway.
Can you come out after hours?
Booked work is Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm. After-hours work is by arrangement, so ring and ask.
